Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh today released a Postage stamp in the memory of renowned journalist and freedom fighter Shahid Lala Jagat Narayan. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said Lala Jagat Narayan was not only a courageous journalist but also a brave freedom fighter. Lala Jagat narayan who took actively participated in the freedom struggle, was also the founder of Punjab Kesari newspaper. He was the personal secretary of Lala Lajpat Rai for some time even.
