Punjab Sanjhiwal Jatha

The Punjabi Boli Morcha launched by Punjab Sanjhiwal Jatha completed 23 days of continuous campaign in Delhi on 31st, July. We had a well attended review meeting today to chalk further strategy and to initiate parallel signature campaign on the memorandum prepared by us in consultation with eminent writers, teachers and students as well.

A major achievement of our activism is that now we are getting offers of assistance from various groups across Delhi; invitations to visit their localities, offers to address meetings and so on. Our two jathas in the North and West Delhi evoked a qualitatively intense response especially in Tilak Vihar, Vishnu Garden and Partap Bagh localities. Kuljeet, who is coordinating these schedules is overwhelmed at the prospect that we are full for the next 21 days.

Friends, we require funds, contributions, volunteers and your suggestions to meaningfully channelise these saplings of our glorious language Punjabi to bloom in the face of indifferent official circles in this ancient city.
